| Early Neutral Evaluations – Attorney Jonathan J. Fogel
An Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE) is a form of alternative dispute resolution. There are two kinds of ENEs: Financial and Social. The ENE an expedited, voluntary, and confidential evaluative process designed facilitate prompt dispute resolution. The ENE offers the evaluative impressions of professionals, directly to the parties, based on case presentations and information gathered at the ENE session. The benefit of an ENE is that both parties will hear a neutral opinion from experienced professionals as to the likelihood of success related to their claims. Cases can be resolved quickly and can save money in attorneys’ fees and court costs.
The Social Early Neutral Evaluation (SENE) focuses on the needs of the children. It can address custody, parenting time, and other needs of the children. It could also address other non-financial issues between the parties if there are any. The Financial Early Neutral Evaluation (FENE) focuses solely on financial issues such as child support, spousal support, dividing marital property, debts, and retirement plans, etc.
Jonathan is available to provide both SENE and FENE evaluations.
